Exterior Design

One drum. Two woods.

The shade is a short travertine cylinder. A long wood board runs behind it, with a short tab above the shade. Walnut is the darker board. Light wood is pale oak. The open bottom shows the bulb.

Scenes and Glow

Off by day. A warm pool on the wall at night.

The living room is the same room twice. By day the walnut sconce is off. At night it is on, and warm light falls from the open shade onto the wall. The lights beyond the glass door belong to the garden. The sideboard is a separate room in daylight, with the light wood sconce off. The bedroom and the reading corner are night scenes, with the lamp on.
